Pic's Peanut Butter proudly supports Blind Low Vision

Our founder, Pic, is vision impaired and has a guide dog named Fido. If you've ever taken public transport in New Zealand or popped over to Peanut Butter World in Nelson, you might have chatted with them. Blind Low Vision NZ is always close to our hearts, so this year, we are donating to support their mission. Help us reach our $5,000 donation goal by purchasing any of our dog merchandise!

Rest assured, Pic’s Peanut Butter is safe for dogs, containing no harmful additives like xylitol—just peanuts and a dash of salt. Join us in making a difference this Pawgust! Check out our canine cookie recipe on our recipes page - pawprint approved by Fido himself!

What is PAWGUST?

Pawgust is a fitness and fundraising challenge held throughout August, aimed at improving the physical and mental health of participants and their dogs while raising vital funds for Guide Dogs. By walking or running regularly and seeking sponsorship from family and friends, you are contributing to a world where everyone who needs a Guide Dog can have one.

Why Support Blind Low Vision NZ?

Every day, nine New Zealanders turn to Blind Low Vision NZ for support with vision loss. They provide essential emotional and practical support, enabling those who are blind, deafblind, or have low vision to live independently and continue working. They advocate for accessible and inclusive communities, ensuring equal access to public spaces, information, and careers. Financial donations are crucial to sustain these efforts.
